Why the Bulldog in Our Logo?

Bulldogs symbolize determination, courage, and resilience—qualities that reflect our unwavering commitment to helping you save lives.

Our founder and her husband Todd, also a paramedic, have proudly been “Owned” for most of their married life by rescued English bulldog (because, as many bulldog owner knows – You don’t own bulldog, They own you). Just as they are passionate about saving human lives, they are equally devoted to animal welfare and are actively involved in rescue organizations, particularly those supporting English Bulldogs.

The bulldog represents tenacity, courage, and resilience—qualities that define how we approach our mission every day. It reflects our unwavering commitment to helping you save lives, and the spirit behind our tagline: “We’re tenacious about helping save lives.”

There’s also a personal story behind it. Our founder and her husband, both paramedics, have spent most of their married life happily “owned” by rescued English Bulldogs—because as any bulldog lover will tell you, they truly own you.
