STOP The Bleed - Instructor-Led Classroom Training
Participants in the course will learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control it with three quick techniques. The ACS Stop the Bleed training course will empower you to make a life-or-death difference when a bleeding emergency happens.
Our instructors will teach you in person using training materials specially developed to teach bleeding control techniques. They will not only instruct you, but they will also be available to check your movements as you practice three different bleeding control actions:
- Use your hands to apply direct pressure to a wound.
- Pack a wound to control bleeding.
- Apply a tourniquet.
An ACS Stop the Bleed course is for anyone who is interested in learning this lifesaving skill for bleeding control. Participants will receive a Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) – a $30.00 value – and a certificate of participation.
